We often hear the sentence that I will go looking for inspiration or do not disturb me, I am looking for inspiration. The inspiration that appears will generate ideas or ideas about innovation to be done. Hence, an innovator must try to find something inspiring.
We can start by looking at the goods or products around us. Many products are actually ordinary goods but being given a little touch becomes a great innovation.
Here are some tips you can do when looking for inspiration:
1. Hobbies
Often inspiration comes from a hobby. For example, if you like to play football, then inspiration can appear in the environment. Or you can think of what innovation you can produce from your hobby. For example, make a more practical football shoe design, artistic ball design, or you can try modifying the game rules much more exciting. Futsal is one example of innovation from football. The number of players originally 11 people is reduced to 5 people only. The field was made more simple. As a result, futsal was favored by the whole community because they can play with a small number of players and can be played on the indoor field. If you start making something from your hobbies then it would be much more optimal because we do it with great pleasure.
2. Solutions
Product innovation can be useful if users can provide solutions to a problem. Ideas is to make innovative products can be started here. Try to find a problem that may be experienced by someone when doing an activity. Then, you can think of what the product could possibly produce in addressing the problem.
3. Events
Sometimes an event can bring up an idea and a brilliant idea. For example, a car accident can generate the idea of making airbags as a safeguard for the driver during a violent collision. Accident motorcyclists then led to the idea of making a helmet as a protective head. Many police officers who suffered gunshot wounds then raised the idea of making a vest made of Kevlar raw which has a function as a protector and silencer from bullet attacks.

4. Multifunctional
A work of innovation should have added value compared to existing products especially in terms of function. Therefore, to get an idea of innovation you can start by looking at what tools can be used by the surrounding community that can be combined. You try to find inspiration to create a tool that can answer more than one needs, such as two in one, three in one, or more.
5. Simple
If you are looking for an idea for making a work, then it is better not to look for something extraordinary. Sometimes simple things actually more useful than the work of a very high technology. For example, you can start from a tool commonly used at home everyday. With a little touch of innovation, an item or tool at home can be transformed into something extraordinary.

Well, that's the five important things you should look for if you're looking for inspiration to produce a product or item. Looking for inspiration from anywhere, but create works that no one else has thought of before.
